The
mission of AMWA-University of
Utah
Medical Student Chapter for 2005-2006 is to empower, educate, and support women
to advance within medicine.
We
will achieve this by promoting service projects that benefit the community,
while instilling leadership and awareness, fostering valuable alliances with
practicing female physicians, encouraging and advocating for aspiring female
undergraduate students, offering opportunities to gain insight about women's
issues that help aid and commit them to improving women's health, and offering
forums that provide the knowledge, insight, and perspective that will further
aid women through their progression in the medical profession.
